Local Transition Clusters
Local Transition Clusters are groups of early
years practitioners from preschools and schools that meet once a
term to strengthen links further between preschool and school. The
groups have emerged as a result of a two year pilot project lead by
the Birth to Five Service. The pilot project generated interest
throughout the county in providing models of good practice for
transition of children between settings.
Current local cluster groups have agreed
aims and objectives which they jointly work towards, alongside
enjoying the social benefits of this strengthened networking.
