The Frog Prince
I had this story read to me by my parents when I was young and loved it because of the happy ending; and how many times have you been tempted to kiss a frog when you see one….just in case?!
I have used this with reception age children to look at the structure of the story, the two main characters and to think up alternative endings. With younger children I have used it to discuss how the princess treats the frog initially and how daft it is that the princess actually kisses the frog!
