Since September 2008, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has become a statutory framework for all registered early years settings, nationally. This includes all Schools, Nurseries, Pre-Schools, Playgroups, Day Care Centres and Child-Minding Establishments in the county. We have provided downloads from the EYFS on this site in order to support you with the implementation of the framework together with further resources, information, guidance and useful links. Please check the site on a regular basis for additional information and resources. If you are a practitioner in Lincolnshire and would like to share effective Early Years practice and provision on this website, please contact a member of the team at the Birth to Five Service.

To download the EYFS wall poster, click here.  This poster illustrates the structure of the EYFS framework including the four overarching themes and principles, together with the integrating commitments. The Birth to Five Service encourages you to share and display this poster in entrances, staff rooms and planning areas within settings so it can be viewed and understood by all stakeholders.

Click here to access the new EYFS Media Pack outlining the EYFS. This media pack has been available since August 2008. Contents include information on the EYFS, together with case studies and further details supporting the early learning goals.

Click here to access the Birth to Five Service Self-Evaluation Document, which enables Practitioners to assess their provision against the sixteen commitments within EYFS.
